Switching to more Dutch
To the wonderful English speaking people who have shown interest in my poems; thank you for your attention. I love to write and it’s a treat to be read as well.
Coming May my first novel will be published, in Dutch. I’m pretty excited about that! To give Dutch readers a better chance of finding me, I will start to use more Dutch and less English. I will also change the name of my site, putting my own name in the title.
I’ll still write in English once in a while, because it’s so much fun, and I hope you’ll stick around and continue to read my English poems. If the amount of Dutch starts to annoy you, you could always learn the beautiful language of the Lowlands by the sea. 🙂

International Women’s Day
And then God made woman. A reason for celebration indeed!
Rosa Parks
Today I post a poem I didn’t put my logo on. It just didn’t seem right to add ‘Walk Slow’ to this one. Sometimes we need to jump, run, fight! Sometimes we need to remain seated, sometimes we need to bend a knee.
