Annemieke Reesink (1975) is an imperfect mom, a stressed out teacher and a searching believer. She wants to love unconditionally, fails terribly, and tries again. Her stories and poems are personal and forgiving, an attempt to embrace this beautiful mess.
Annemieke’s head fills up easily and her skin is not thick. She needs to go out and take long walks to quiet the noise in her head. She found this character trait to be pretty annoying, until she realised beautiful words and slow thoughts grow best in quiet places.
Annemieke lives in The Netherlands. She likes to write in Dutch, her native tongue, but also in English, having lived in Alberta, Canada when she was a child.
